My orange polka dots room!!!!
March 28, 2012Yay!!! After procrastinating for years, the 'room revamp' post is finally here!
I still remember I wanted a room revamp way back during 2008, and at that point of time my room looks super dull and boring (plus abit hideous lol) thus I wanted a revamp! But all the expenses for the revamp will be all paid by myself, so I've to plan out everything and keep it within my budget.
So during 2008, I gotten all the furnitures that I think that I need and painted the room myself. And over the years, I keep changing and shifting the placement of all my furnitures and also gotten somemore furnitures (1 more additional wardrobe and 2 cupboard drawer) to add on to what I already have.
So what you guys see now is the current state of my room and it's just a really simple room, nothing over the top or anything but at least it's decant looking now after the revamp! Okay!!! Picturessss!!!!

As you guys can see my room is painted in orange and with white polka dots all over!!!
I'm super loving it up till now cause it's both what I really love (orange and polka dots)!! The orange base is painted all by myself and the white polka dots is with the help of my bffs (Ting & Angie). We kinda use 2 different size round shaped container to draw them all over the wall then paint them in white after that, which is a pretty tedious job and I obviously did alot more than them since it's my room right.
And the theme of my room is based on orange and white, so all the furnitures are all white (since my wall is in orange), and initially my curtain used to be all white and even my arm chair as well! But I kinda changed it over the time, so my current arm chair is now black though but it still looks good!
Okay, going 360 degrees from anticlockwise of my room you have....

Beside it, is the 2 new cupboard drawers that I just got!
Inside the left cupboard drawer:
First drawer (left) consists of:
[clockwise] Face related products (eg. lip balm, concealer etc.), eyes related (contact lens, solution & cases), hair related products, all the perfume and then all my invisalign aligners set.
First drawer (right) consists of:
[Top] All the random stuff like mouth wash etc.

[Bottom] All the different products that I never use or didn't get to use yet.
Cause some of them above are like gifts and stuff so I never really use them, or it's just facial products that I buy but end up never use them at all cause I'm always very lazy to do so!
So I now never buy any facial products already cause it will be just a waste of money as I know that I won't use it! And for those people who kept asking what facial products I use, I basically just use facial cleanser to wash my face and toner/advancer after that (currently using Bio Essence's bird nest series for both).
Second drawer consists of:
[Top] Random stuff, then lanyards, then stickers/iron-on + more random stuff

[Bottom] Stationery, then random stuff again, then small pouches, then iphone cases & dust caps.
I got alot of all those 'ling ling long long' stuff man but all too cute to throw away!

Third drawer consists of:
[Top] 2 of my back-up hard disk, then cables or chargers that I'll use frequently (the orange thing is a headphone lol), then cables or charger which I won't really use them.

[Bottom] 3 different section for my electronic stuff which I'll go into details below....
1. All the USB flash drives, SD cards, iBanking device.
2. All my unused phones which I didn't bother to sell, biscuit camera, tamagotchi, Nintendo DS lite, 2 mini tripod, batteries and wireless remote for my camera (which is spoilt & I only used it once wtf).
3. My another camera Lumix Lx3 (currently using Lumix G3), a Canon IXUS which I used many many years back, white instax mini, instax mini films and a photo album book for all the polaroids.
Fourth drawer consists of:
School related books & stuff, then random stuff again, then all my caps & hats.
I squeeze all my caps and hats together cause I don't really wear them one lol.
Last drawer consists of:
Story books, random gadgets and all the boxes of my gadgets/watches etc.
Okay, moving on to the next cupboard drawer on the right....
Inside the right cupboard drawer:
First drawer (left) consists of:
[Top] Accessories, bangles and bracelets. - [Bottom] Accessories, rings.
First drawer (right) consists of:
[Top to Bottom] Shades & specs, then watches, then badges/pins, and then necklace.
Shades, specs and watches.
Pins, badges and necklaces.
<Second drawer consists of:
Small sling bags, tote bags and all the random small bags.
Third drawer consists of:
Sling bags, 'envelope size' clutch bags, briefcase bags.
Fourth drawer consists of:
Shoulder bags and smaller size backpacks.
Last drawer consists of:
Basket bags, bigger size backpacks, shoulder bags and all other bags which are rarely used.
Next is my desk, with 2 small cupboard drawers underneath it.
Basically it's the place where I use my laptop, cause I don't really study here.
And I'm not showing what's in the cupboard drawers below cause it's all like my personal stuff like;
certs, cds, love letters (hahaha!!!) and all the personal stuff lah nothing much to show one.
Then is, my bedddddddddddd!
And beside it is my 2 wardrobe for all my clothes!
Inside the first (left) wardrobe:
[Top] Formal blazer (the one with long cover), vests, short sleeve tees.

[Bottom] Jackets, hoodies, pullovers, polo tees & belts/ties/suspenders in the blue container.
Inside the second (right) wardrobe:
[Top] Singlets, short sleeves button shirts, long sleeves button shirts, cardigans, long sleeves tees.

[Bottom] Hanging are pants, jeans and shorts that I always wear. Those that I don't usually wear is stacked up at the bottom hidden inside. Tees for home wear in the blue container, my one and only PJ (black with orange polka dots), undergarments (boxers/briefs/shorts) at the side.
Lastly, is this display cupboard!
[First row] Daily necessities that I always use (shaver, perfume, deodorant, eye drop, toner etc.) and also my wallet, watches that I always wear for now and my plain ring.

[Second row] Shorts, pants and cardigans that I wear before.
[Third row] The bag that I always carry to school and random tins and stuff at the other side.

[Fourth row] Plushies that are given as gift, except the IKEA dog.
AND HERE YOU HAVE IT, THAT CONCLUDES THE ENTRY FOR MY ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Omg I didn't expect it would take so freaking longggggg to do up this entry wtf.
Anyway, hope you guys love reading it yah! So sorry that I took so long for this entry to be up, as many of you guys have been asking me to blog about my room throughout the years... but it's finally up now! :D
Wait, am I repeating what I said earlier in the beginning of the post lol? Okay, I think I need to go to bed now if not there might be a portability that I'll repeat and type the whole entry again hahaha! Bye!
